New Year’s Eve Show in Chicago, “Moving On” Single/”Gasoline” Video Bundle available on iTunes 11/17, Louisville Orchestra..
Good afternoon,
We’re somewhere in Idaho at the moment, about to wrap up the final week of our crazy North American tour. It’s been an amazing one so far, filled with lots of jumping, screaming, sweatiness, and boozy nighttime wanderings.. Thanks so much to all those who came out and made this tour such a memorable one. We’ve been having loads of fun in all these cities and enjoyed meeting all of you. It’s been especially nice seeing so many familiar faces speckling the crowds.
Also, our good friends and tour buddies The Henry Clay People and Red Cortez have been putting on some truly inspiring performances at all these shows. If you haven’t seen them yet, make sure you come early to catch them. If you have, you know exactly what we’re talking about..
NEW YEAR’S EVE IN CHICAGO:
To ring in 2010, we’re excited to announce that we’ll be playing a New Year’s Eve show in Chicago at the River East Arts Center. The night will feature a DJ set by Mark Ronson and additional performances by the Virgins and the Drums. Tickets go on sale this Friday. Go to the SHOWS section this Friday for the link. More info to come..
“MOVING ON” SINGLE/”GASOLINE” VIDEO BUNDLE AVAILABLE ON ITUNES NOVEMBER 17:
We’re also extremely happy to announce the upcoming release of an iTunes Bundle which, along with the song “Does This Mean You’re Moving On?” includes our official “Gasoline” music video.
This video was filmed as we rode bicycles all over east and downtown L.A. A few things to look out for in the video include: bike-riding inside the Metro station, a police helicopter, and Steven wiping out on steps..
The “Does This Mean You’re Moving On?” [A/V Bonus Pack] will be available on iTunes beginning November 17th.
Special thanks to L.A.’s own Midnight Riddaz and the hundred or so bike riders who showed up for our nighttime bike ride/video shoot through Silver Lake and Echo Park. The whole night was one of those unique experiences we’ll never forget..
SPECIAL PERFORMANCE WITH THE LOUISVILLE ORCHESTRA – JANUARY 30:
Just a reminder that we’ll be playing a special performance with the world-famous Louisville Orchestra on January 30, 2010 at the Kentucky Center for the Arts in Louisville, KY. Tucson’s own Calexico will also be joining us on the bill for this show.

I’m not coming to any of these shows, but I’ll be at the Copenhagen show Nov 27th!
Killed it last time. Just very sad to find out I had lunch in the park where you guys were interviewed, but somehow missed you. Didn’t know you were there before I saw photos in a magazine. GRHH! Would have loved to be a fly on the wall. To make matters worse, I used to work for that magazine. I know you can’t remember an interview in a shitty park in Copenhagen, just wanted to complain out loud. Done.
Ktxbye, can’t wait to see you live again, thanks for coming to Copenhagen.
Well I already have my new years plans set, and it’s only October 28th! So stoked you picked Chicago out of everywhere! I will be there, and will have my tickets purchased this Friday!
I was in NYC the nights you guys were playing but alas couldn’t get tickets. Boo hiss! I’ll see you in Dublin on the 11th though! Lookin forward to it. So glad that you’ve played a few shows in Ireland, lots of bands just skip us right over 🙂
tickets are on sale today?…..I can’t find them….
You are amazing guys, we hope you to come to south america soon, here we cant buy yours cds, so unless we will be happy to have the band in a big shows, TATE must been amazing in live…
Had a great time at the show in Seattle! You sounded amazing and looked like you were all having a good time! Safe travels to the UK–hope you come back to the Pacific NW soon!
Your show at the 9:30 Club in D.C. was fantastic! I’ve never had that much fun (or danced and jumped that much in 2 sq. ft. of floor space) at a gig before. Your energy was great and the crowd loved you! It was especially nice that you took pics with so many fans after the show, it was a personal touch that meant a lot to us. Next tour, please head back to the 9:30, we’ll welcome you here any time!
You guys where awesome at the Roseland!
I hope you all will be coming back to Texas. Those of us not in Austin need a dose of your words
Goes to show what a fu couldn’t even get 700 fans to the phoenix. Anyway, yours truly was there and can honestly say that TATE is by a landslide the most revelant band touring the club scene in N.A. today. Blue October being a distant second. Great gig, they promised a rock n roll show and that’s exactly what they delivered. Hope to pull some strings to get to Chi- town for new years eye but i never seem to have that kind of luck.
regards, scott
Thanks for a great Show in Boise! It was truly the best show I have been to. I love the added lyrics to Innocence. We had tickets for your Valentines show but I believe you had laryngitis! Glad you could make it this time.
We loved your show in London at the Koko in May and we saw you again in St. Pete Florida in October.
Next show will be Louisville on January 30th. Can’t wait.
Can not get tired of your CD and the next one will kick butt I’m sure.
To my most favorite group in the whole wide world. You all have surpassed “The Who” for me. I am so sorry to have missed the show here in St. Pete in Oct, but promise I will be at the next show in FLA no matter where you come. At 59 years, I thought I had seen the very best, but you ALL have surpassed any band from my past and I am so thankful that besides having your current CD, I have you on my DirecTv 101 to view at will. I can’t tell you how many times I have watched each of you and your excellence concert, and thank each of you for your talent. Looking forward to your next adventure….
Thanks so much for 2009 and best of wishes for 2010!
Sandi in Pompano
I had a blast at the Becks NYE party…..all the Bands rocked and the DJ !!!!!
