LA, NY, UK Premieres, New shows in London, Denver, more..

Good morning,

It’s been a chaotic past few weeks for us here in L.A. We’re winding down the recording and production for our new album and getting ready for our upcoming tour, plus a show this weekend at LouFest this Saturday in St. Louis. Also, Daren got a haircut.

We’re extremely happy to announce three upcoming premieres for our documentary DVD All I Ever Wanted: Live from Walt Disney Concert Hall, in Los Angeles, New York, and London.

We’ll be in attendance at all of them, and we hope you can join us to celebrate the release of this film. A limited number of tickets for the L.A. and New York premieres go on sale exclusively through our website, starting TODAY at 9:00 a.m..

The DVD/Live Album and Blu-Ray will now be released in North America on September 28th and in Europe on October 4th. You’ll be able to buy them at all premieres and concerts. All DVDs purchased with the pre-sale tickets for the tour will be sent out the week of September 1st.

Performance at Raindance Opening Night Party in London:

To help kick off the festivities, we’ll be playing a full electric set for the opening night party of the Raindance Film Festival at Heaven, Under the Arches in London. Tickets are on sale now.

Going the Distance Soundtrack:
The soundtrack for this film is out today and includes an acoustic version of our new song “Half of Something Else.” The brand-new studio version plays over the credits. Other artists appearing on it include Cat Power, Passion Pit, Albert Hammond Jr., Band of Skulls, the Boxer Rebellion, and the Cure.

Performance with the Colorado Symphony:
We’re thrilled to announce that we’ll be playing a concert with the Colorado Symphony at Boettcher Concert Hall in Denver on January 22, 2011. More details to come..

LouFest
