Good morning,
From the windswept streets of Paris, we’re winding down the first week of our European tour here in the birthplace of bikinis, photography, and Serge Gainsbourg. Yes, we’re far away from home, and no, it’s not something you necessarily get used to, but it’s nice to feel that we could be at home here, in Berlin, Antwerp, and Münster, sitting in cafes, eating schnitzel, drinking beer… It’s one way to live.
Thank you to all those who came to the shows and to those we met afterwards, on whom we practiced our makeshift Flemish and Movie-of-the-Week German.

If you buy it during the first week of release (up until Tuesday, February 8th), you can also get the new studio version of “This Losing” (which won’t be included on our upcoming album, All at Once). All you have to do is email us the receipt and we will send you the mp3. Think of it as a B side—you know, the way they used to do things..
For those of you in Europe, we’ll be releasing a different single, and offering the same “This Losing” bonus track if you buy in the first week. More on that (including a release date) soon.

Fridays in Paris
The shows in Amsterdam and Berlin will be at the same venue each week (Paradiso and White Trash, respectively), while the Paris venues will change each week.
On Wednesdays and Thursdays, we’ll play shows in other cities and countries.
One of these performances will be at HMV’s NEXT BIG THING Music Festival at Heaven in London on February 10th. Details below..

Still buzzing from the show in Antwerp. Loved the new songs. It was awesome, Altough i wanted you to play my favourite song “gasoline”.Noah, I hope you haven’t forgot what you promised me afterwards….”Next time you come, we’ll play it.” Well, we’re comming to Amsterdam this Monday. Hope you guys found the pallieter pub at the mechelse plein, and had a nice time in our city.

I saw you guys Wednesday in Hamburg. That was really great. Good mixture of old and new songs with an assume performance. I hope to see you soon back in Hamburg. I’m waitung desperatly for the new album.

Not sure if this is even possible, but am I the only person who would love to buy a DVD of the Denver Show? The youtube videos are showing up and look amazing, but if there is a professional recording someplace where do I send my money!!!! I looked into plane tickets to Denver but no go, late fairs were too high (aarrrrgghh) Can’t wait for a Chicago show!

Ken you aren’t the only one that would love a copy of the Denver Show! I was there and I would absolutely love one!!! So if there is a professional recording of any sort I will also purchase it.

Also noticed Nottingham and Leeds dates have been added; hopefully Liverpool/Manchester are soon to follow! The Deaf Institute show back in October was one of the best nights of my life. 🙂
The Denver recordings on youtube were just from folks up front filming with their little cameras. I don’t believe it was filmed professionally at all. Would’ve been a great show to film though!

3rd time in 2 weeks. And now we have to stop stalking you guys. it was nice to hear the new songs, and we are looking forward to april and the release-date. the kids are ready to die & welcome to your wedding day are my favourites along with Changing of course.
