    That wasn’t a song. It wasn’t art.
    It was something more.
Honestly, I don’t even know how to respond to that. You guys really never cease to amaze.

Cannot wait for the new album. Thank you for making this world a better place.

I havent been this excited to my soul about a band since U2 released their first album. It is astounding that every song Mikel Jollett writes is BETTER than the last; his lyrics are piercing and poignant, intelligent and intentional. The bands musicians are each extraordinarily talented respectively but mesh like they are one, each song their talents push and pull effortlessly in rhythym and individual style. When interviewed they are as darling and sweet and funny as you would hope good friends to be, and when they play, they transform into mythical sexy musical sirens(especially Mikel-SO HOT!). I am officially insatiably obsessed and infatuated with this band and will be a fan for life. Love you guys- with the highest respect and extreme admiration, Samantha from Atlanta

The Airborne Toxic Event is the only band that can make me tear up at a song. So. Beautiful. Like Z, TATE never ceases to amaze me. It is something more than music. It’s like my soul was ripped out and put to words. Beautiful. Come to NorCal, I can’t bear the pain of not having a show to look forward to!

Wow! You guys are absolutely amazing! This song in particular reminds me of “Bad” by U2 (one of my favorite songs ever!). Keep creating beautiful music, the world needs more musicians like you.

Now that I think about it, it’s also like “O Children” by Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds. Ah, beautiful music 🙂

I’m kinda w/NC Jeff — sounds like it could have come straight from the album Nebraska. Which, as far as I’m concerned, is a beautiful thing. Can’t wait til DC show!

I remember the first time I heard “Sometime Around Midnight.” I was BLOWN AWAY! AMAZED that a band could so perfectly capture that feeling I had when I was…younger than now. I’m a HUGE fan. I love the movie. I love the music. I love your whole story. Nothing you guys could do would surprise me. Or so I thought. The band is amazing. But this video raises the bar even further. The song. The lyrics. Even the location of the video—AWESOME! Please keep it up. Please keep making music that is SO real. Music that, when the song ends, makes you feel like you just read an amazing novel. Thank you.
