Hawaii in January – Pre-Sale TOMORROW at 10am
Over time, we’ve learned that there are some things we just have to do, no matter how uncomfortable or how distasteful they may be. You know, pay your dues, Airborne. So, with that in mind, and to our great dismay, we find that we have no choice but to journey to the dismal, gloomy island kingdom of Hawaii for two shows at the end of January.
We’ll be performing at the Maui Arts & Cultural Center Castle Theater in Maui and the Hawaii Theatre in Honolulu on January 20 and 21, respectively. Pre-Sale for both shows begins at 10am TOMORROW MORNING (11/10).

Sure, you’re giggling to yourselves now, but I’ve seen you pale folks enough times to know that when you’re touring you define the sun as “that bright thing I hide from while trying to sleep in a car”. You go to Hawaii in January, it’s going to hit you like a child on Christmas morning tearing open a present and finding a portal to another world. And not one of those happy ending worlds, like Oz or Narnia, one of those worlds that Terry Gilliam decided were too bizarre to make a movie of.
Oh, hell yeah!! We’re there for both shows – all the way from NC. Love you guys. See you first in Charlotte on the 23rd.

My boyfriend said he would leave me if I bought tickets. That would be such an awesome January get away though. Instead I will have to stay home and enjoy a New England winter. Wish I could be there. Wish I could be at all of your shows. Love you guys.

Nice to see you’re playing a gig in Honolulu. Not crazy about seats, so used to GA. How do you guys feel about cameras at your shows. I’ve been to a lot of U2 shows as well as Filter, FIXX, MAE, Owl City, Silversun Pickups, Strokes, mrnorth and they have no problem with it, even okay with DSLR cameras with lenses no longer than the length of a credit card. I’d like to take some great pictures of you guys to give you to you after for your website but Hawaii Theatre has Drconian rules. Send me an e-mail if you guys are okay with cameras and DSLRs at your shows. I’m looking to get a low light lens as I never use flash at concerts since I’m usually really close to the front.
Be sure t’pack an ‘eavy sweater and bring yer wellies , Oi’ve ‘eard ‘tcan be orful cold ‘n’ wet that toime uv year .
