Arctic Monkeys joining in SLC and Denver, Australia on sale..

July 14, 2009

Hello,

We’re ecstatic to have finally gone to Edinburgh, having taken a day off to explore the city via whiskey sampling, underground ghost tours, and such. It’s seriously an amazing place, and we highly recommend visiting if you ever get the chance. It was also great to get back to Dublin, which was bustling and beautiful (despite all the raininess).

Thanks so much to all those who came out to see our sets at both Oxegen and T in the Park. We were truly blown away by the sheer size of these festivals..

more and more gigs, you guys just keep rocking!
Sheffield, last night, was truly amazing, took away every ounce of disappointment at not seeing you guys first time round (darn power cut). Although I wouldn’t have missed the chat outside for the world!
Thanks so much for the fabulous time we had last night, just want to do it all over again. The new songs were just incredible, eager to get them on C.D. Any chance?
Each one of you seem to put your heart and soul into the music and we appreciate it so much. Long may you continue!
Take care, love and thanks, Susan xx

Just wanted to say what a great time we had seeing you guys at T in the Park. This was the second time I have seen you play but the first time for all of my friends who I made come along (instead of seeing the headliners)None of them regret it at all after much grumbling beforehand-they were all blown away!!(I am quite the hero now for persuading them all!)

Looking forward to coming to see you again in Autumn. You guys are so original-its so refreshing to hear something that sounds so different being played with such obvious enjoyment.Cheers!

Awww, man! TATE and the Arctic Monkeys are a dream combo for me. The two bands are coming here (Seattle) seperately, and I am hoping to see both shows, but it’s a stretch. Together on the same night in the same place? Unadulterated ecstasy. I’d love to see a TATE and Franz Ferdinand combo also (;-) hint).

Regardless, I’m beyond excited to see TATE play live in Seattle (October). I’ve had two “religious” musical experiences in my life. The first being when I heard Springsteen’s “Born To Run” album, the second when I heard The Airborne Toxic Event’s CD. That’s some powerful good stuff!
